Dominique L. Jones is an Assistant Professor in the Master of Science in Nursing program. She began her career at Saint Catherine's in June of 2024. Dominique completed a Master's in Nursing and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Jones' clinical practice is as a certified nurse-midwife. She is a co-founder of the Indigenous and Midwives of Color Committee (IMOCC) and is a member of the Maternal Mortality Review Committee (MMRC). Dr. Jones was elected to the APRN Coalition Board of Directors in the Fall of 2025 and began her term as CNM Director in January of 2026. She has formerly served as the vice president of the American College of Nurse-Midwives MN Affiliate and as the allied professional representative to the MN ACOG advisory council.Â
