Orientation Details
We’re excited to welcome you at orientation as you begin your time at St. Kate’s! Over these three days, you will have the opportunity to connect with your classmates and orientation leaders, learn about important University policies and procedures, become familiar with campus resources, and adjust to life as a Katie.
This program will take place in person on our beautiful St. Paul campus, and students should plan to be present on campus for all three days of orientation.
If you have questions about attending orientation, please email orientation@stkate.edu.
Orientation Check-In
Check-in will take place on Friday, August 22 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Head to the Atrium on the 1st floor of the Coeur de Catherine during this time to pick up your orientation materials!

Learn about Academic Expectations
During orientation, you will learn more about your The Reflective Woman class and begin a conversation that will be a foundation and springboard for your education at St. Kate's. If you would like to learn more about the history of St. Kate's and the CSJs, feel free to review the readings below prior to Orientation.
Benefits of Participating
Orientation is the best way to learn about the resources available to you as a St. Kate’s student and prepare to start your program. New students appreciate the opportunity to connect with University staff and faculty — it makes it easier to reach out when you need them.
Come prepared with your questions, as this is your chance to make sure you have all of the answers you need to start the semester off right.
Student Resource Hub
To access important resources, log into Canvas and enroll in the St. Kate's General Student Resource Hub. You can access Canvas from the My St. Kate's Students page. Once logged into Canvas, you can self register for the Hub by selecting "Courses" on the right, then "All Courses," and then "Browse More Courses." Finally, click the "Join this Course" button. Once you click "Enroll in Course," the General Student Resource Hub will appear on your Canvas Dashboard.
